Recently I learned about Rhode Island Novelty from a couple of different sources. All of them told me that they sold cheap, crappy inflatables that popped too easily. Perfect
My thoughts
Horses: Fun, wish they were bigger, stupid squeakers are a PITA to remove (and even more annoying if left in).
Small B&W orcas: Squeakers are easy to remove, cheap (but small). Nice bang ![]()
Dolphins: These have bells in them… not squeakers… FUUUUUUUUU- Otherwise, they also pop rather nicely… jingle jingle jingle POP!
Big blue whales: These are actual Bestway ride-ons. An amazing deal for $4.80 / ea.
Birthday Bust 2009, Part 1
New content! Hooray! I know a lot of you have been eager to see this, and I’ve been busting my ass (literally and figuratively) to get it put together and online. Even though I no longer have to deal with YouTube’s 10 minute video limit, I’ve broken this video up into a few chunks (3 to be exact) as it’s a long one. Lots of different gear, different balloons, and different inflatables. One thing that I’ve wanted to do ever since I got into inflatables a few years back was to pop a whole pile of them and, well, you’ll just have to watch the video and see how things turn out.
One last item of note: some new gear that I’ve alluded to previously makes an appearance in this video. Happy birthday to me
